Heavy dubstep. And guess where the bass is coming from. ;)

Check out "Two Zero One Zero Party Time" at www.robotholiday.com (it's the second song). It's got little phatty bass and lead.

I think you want to listen to "The Living Part One". That's got a good dose of Little Phatty in it, but the thing is, you've got to listen for it. It's kind of a flavor thing.

Once you click the link, just hit "Launch Music Player" and select the song.

I do like that song, but I had to listen to it twice to pick out the Phatty. Very nice tune! :D

I've recently uploaded a bunch of tracks to MySpace which feature my Little Phatty almost exclusively. There are a few bits of Arturia Moog Modular, the occaisional guitar drone and a touch of M-Tron mellotron emulator, but the bulk is my LP and a CP-251. This is particularly the case on the Little Avalanches tracks, which are the LP through and through!

Hope you like 'em...

I did a synthy cover of Weezer's "Buddy Holly". It's the first one in the player here: http://www.myspace.com/lotsoflittlepictures

All the synths sounds are little phatty. Even did the little solo using a basic 1 osc patch on the LP, lots of fun. There's also an omnichord in there, synthwise :)

here's a song with quite a lot of little phatty... my first addition to this thread as well.

I could explain everywhere the little phatty is, but I think it's obvious for the most part.. its the star of the show.

Practicing Moog

Post by praxisaxis » Tue Mar 23, 2010 1:36 am

I've recently purchased my Moog Little Phatty. I'm hugely pleased with it. Not just for the beautiful sound but because of the responsiveness of it too. It's very much an instrument in its own right, rather than just another synth.

Anyway, I thought for my first post here I would share a video of me practicing it.

the two songs we have up on youtube feature me prominently playing my phatty (all custom patches) for leads. Sorry about the singer (first gig ever) and the crappy quality, and our terrible lack of a soundman :x . gear used= Phatty on top of peavey bass amp, Strat and Mesa Stilletto halfstack, Laguna bass and Mesa M9 carbine, Tama Imperialstar drumset (amps and drums generously donated by Metallica  )
