I'd like to bring this thread back out as I'm wondering the exact same thing. What does it do?PHC wrote:What's the difference between EGR Reset and Legato OFF? Either way the envelopes are triggered at every note I play. Maybe I'm missing something?
Re: A new EGR mode?
ERG Reset the attack begins at zero. Legato Off the attack should pick up at the level of the sustain stage. Longer attack, high sustain to hear the difference.
ERG reset, I think, also affects notes not played legato if there is a long release.

Actually in legato off mode the envelope restarts from the value it is when retriggered.Sir Nose wrote:ERG Reset the attack begins at zero. Legato Off the attack should pick up at the level of the sustain stage.
