Funny that it would show up here before Moog announced it--particularly overseas.
Still looks like wood in the black and white picture, but I would guess that it is plastic.
I prefer the blue lights on my Tribute, thank you very much.....
If this thing really does sell on the street for less than $1,000 bucks, Moog should make a killing, and deservidly so. Anywhere I can buy stock in Moog???
Heck of a synth for $1,000.......

I think this sums up the Stage Edition well enough:

This odd looking fellow holds a price tag of $1375.00 US dollars.
Only $100 less than the Tribute?
Interesting.

Very nice! I like the look, much cleaner than the tribute edition and the color scheme is neat. I was impressed to read that the end caps are not plastic, but a rubberized material. I wasn't going to consider getting a little phatty, but the new stage edition has changed my mind, i'm glad I waited! I hope they don't change it.

hmm, not quite sure if like it or not.....
comparing these two i much prefer the tribute but the stage does look really cool in this one
looks really 70's roland (which is a good thing IMO)
whereas the tribute looks more like a time traveler, oscillating back and forth between the 1960's and the year 2006.
yeah i'm sure the stage would look really amazing in person, i reckon black sides would look better though

i think the stage edition looks pretty awesome. the fact that they're listing for only $100 difference DOES make me wonder if I should go with the tribute instead. They both have features that I really dig though. I like the orange/red lights. but who doesnt want those sweet wood panels!??! i agree black might've looked better for the rubber sides. i totally want wood sides, but i think the bob signature is sort of cheesy. hmmmm, whats a guy to do?
if the difference is only $100, I wonder if Moog will consider selling the wood sides as an 'upgrade' package. They look like they attached the sides with a simple design (6 simple screws)... so maybe that was part of the plan?
people are actually selling tributes USED on ebay already. I wonder if thats due to the unveiling of the stage edition.

It's really a matter of personal taste, I don't care for the wood sides on thethink the stage edition looks pretty awesome. the fact that they're listing for only $100 difference DOES make me wonder if I should go with the tribute instead. LP, IMO it appears like it's trying to look retro..I think the new rubber sides
are more appealing to the overall shape and design. The moog logo on the back isn't glaring and looks alot cleaner than the large signature thats on the LP Tribute. The auto-tune is a great idea too. I see that Nova Musik is taking pre-orders already at $1249. count me in!
