Hi all,
I was thinking about getting myself a slim phatty however, I could not manage to find a definite answer to the question if the slim phatty uses continuous encoders, or if it just uses a few for certain functions or if it depends on the year it was produced. Could anyone provide me with an answer to this?
Thanks in advance.
Does the slim phatty have continous encoders?

Re: Does the slim phatty have continous encoders?
Hey Veritas, welcome to the forum!
Except for the value encoder just below the screen, no encoders on the Slim.Little Phatty. Just real, smooth potentiomers.
That being said, they are configurable to act in jump, through and relative modes. The latter is very convenient for natural changes even after ahving switched to another program.
I've grown up with LED-collars and infinite encoders (Clavia G2) and I must say the Phatty is quite as comforable to use.
