RE: slim phatty front panel tracking behavior.

hello all.

i've just acquired a rack of 4 slim phatties in white from noise bug in pomona.

i like them. i have a question about front panel behavior when stacking (unison daisy-chain) or playing in poly mode.

the front panel of daisy chained phatties only tracks the front panel parameters saved with the patch on the master unit. for instance, if filter cutoff was saved to be the active parameter on a patch, this parameter is lit on the master and slaved units, and moving the potentiometer results in the LEDs moving on the slave units, as expected. Selecting a different parameter in the same section, say, Resonance, results in no mirroring on the slave units (the parameter button lights don't change, and the LED's don't move).

Q: is this normal?

or is there a setting that would allow all units to mirror all front panel operations?

thought i'd ask here before calling people at moog who are hard at work on new technologies for us.

thanks,
