Turnkey are taking orders at £899.99. At today's exchange rate that equates to $1560!

Are they hand carrying them over here?

I'm in the UK.

The cost of shipping an individual unit would defeat the purpose, but I don't understand why we pay over the odds when distributors can order dozens at a time. Maybe that's a naive statement but I've yet to hear a plausible explanation.

on another note - will this synthesizer bring up the same trouble in regards to trademark issues in the UK? is there a moog logo or nameplate that will need to be removed etc? will there be long waiting times for delivery because of that?

the price in the uk for the voyager was already meshugge...

At least its less than £1000. I doubt it will be Moog branded though if you're getting it from Turnkey.

Moog says the tribute will ship at the end of May. A second edition, the “Stage,” will have plastic sides and a different color scheme to the LEDs. The best part is that Moog is hoping to get the price down to much closer to a street price of US$1,000.

Import one from the States, it's easier than you think, and will still cost less than you can get it from Turnkey. Oh, and yes, there is an issue with the Moog logo - it won't be there if you buy it in the UK, because of a certain tosser, called Alex Winter.

Who do you email at Moog to get a quote inc. shipping? I've used the contact form but I'm wondering if there's a direct email address?

anybody had a quote yet to the UK?

When you say no logo in the UK, would that be the small logo above the keys or more than that?

I'd obviously have to play it first, but Im sorry that amount of money is just to much and I probably can't say this here but right now im more likely to buy a Dave Smith monophonic keyboard at Turnkey. I know, shoot me.

Everything including the startup screen, circuit boards and the manual.

I've just been told the CDN Retail is $2399

A mere $700 dollars differance.
