Moog Polymode

I am not yet a Moog user but hope to be (in a big way) shortly.

I am very interested in the poly-chaining function I've read about. I have plans to create such a poly-chained Moog setup. I have been leaning towards a Little Phatty along with several Slim Phatty's (I know, both are discontinued).

Would there be any advantage to using the Sub 37, which I understand will also work in such a setup?

Thanks in advance...

David

Moog should really pump this functionality (ie. Make slim Sub 37s) cause I would buy at least 2 to hook up to my Sub 37. What's the hold up?

Polychaining to create a polyphonic synth from several monophonic synth is only getting the typical results, if all the synths sound more or less alike. But the SubPhatty and the Sub 37 sound different from the LittlePhatty and SlimPhatty.

I might have to buy another Sub 37 and chop it up to make a custom slim. Is that my only option Moog? ;)

A four voiced SubExpander as a plain box to be controlled only via a Sub37 or a SubPhatty would be a nice thing. And due to the not needed Knobs not that expensive as buying just two Sub37.
