mac ox 10.9 / motu 828 mk3 sound card / ableton live 9.5 suite
I just moved and reset up my studio, the slim phatty would play sounds but it would not record midi notes. ( i figured i would fix that latter )
Now a couple days ago it just stopped playing sound and midi routings would have to be reset or changed.
per an older post, i am using the editor/external instrument in a rack in live.
I have my midi out coming from my minibrute to the slim phatty on channel 6
i have the slim phatty set to channel 4 both in and out as this has worked fine in the past
i tried using headphones, and it did not work, it may be a midi issue or sound card issue i am thinking,
or something with the new ableton 9.5 update.
i feel like sherlock holmes trying to figure out the issue.
I have done a factory reset on the slim just now
everytime i have it at least receiving midi and i re open live i have to go through and reset the settings
just so the editor shows it is at least receiving midi.
any specs on my set up anyone wants to know or pics i will send,
i could really use some help and would return the favor
