Thanks, I'll check them out

I'm currently working on the one called Syntorial - available in the Apple App Store. The first modules are free, and then you buy them after that. It's not bad - there are direct videos showing applications to Voyager which are similar to Sub 37. There are 200 modules so it's not a ten minute tutorial!

Here's another similar series from SOS. I've yet to read it, but it looks exceptionally comprehensive and educational. Will be going through it all myself later on.Bald Eagle wrote:To learn all about synthesis check out SOS Synth Secrets ...

I don't know of any Sub 37-specific ones yet though.
Re: Synthesis Tutorials
Passing by The Moog Store the other day, their event chalkboard mentioned a Secrets of the Sub37 seminar coming up. I'm going to try to attend this event in person, but my schedule is not very open these days. Maybe just maybe, Moog could video this seminar (and others like it) so folks abroad can learn more about how to employ this amazing and deep instrument in their music.
Trying to learn the Sub37 as a first analog synth seems like a big slice of pizza—difficult to get a hold of, and even after you've eaten most of it, you still have this big thick crust to chew through. I've been playing analogs my whole life, but the Sub37 is still presents an endless array of possibilities.

^Thank you! I've sent email about the event. Sounds like fun, and Wicked Weed is a good establishment, too.
