Lag between between sequenced loops

Post by cheopsnet » Thu Dec 04, 2014 5:06 pm

Hi,

Probably an easy solution to my problem:

When I create a sequence (say A-B-C-D) and I make it play, I get: A-B-C-D-a little bit of time-A-B-C-D-a little bit of time-A-B-C-D....

Instead, I would like the sequence to play A-B-C-D-A-B-C-D-A-..., what I am missing?

Methodology used:
- Bring the 'Pattern' knob to the far right position (Rec)
- Press once on the 'Rest' button
- Play the sequence in legato (A, B, C, D)
- Bring the 'Pattern' knob to the 'Step' position
- Press on both Rest & Tie
- Press A
==> leads me to the aforementioned issue

Thanks,
Louis

You're not missing anything, you are adding!

Just to be clear, you are saying you do NOT want the "little bit of time" in that sequence? So, don't add the "Rest" at the beginning of it. That's what's causing this. Simply turn the pattern knob to "Rec" and play the notes that you want, then switch it back to "Seq" and you can now hit the "On" (Rest) and "Latch" (Tie) buttons and press your "A" note to trigger your sequence.
