Can`t use a Moodwheel via MIDI & Filter Error

Post by Rene K » Wed Oct 22, 2014 4:24 pm

Hello,
Its importent on my setup to filter the panel Midi datas. But if i switch panel Out filters (MIDI Menu 3.2) to OFF the panel is off but the modwheel to ???
If i set the Wheels filter to OFF (MIDI Menu 3.2) it only react to the Pitchwheel but not to the Modwheel.
if i conect the moog via USB to my computer its the same problem.

but via USB both wheels reacting very strange with notehangers & delay.
everything works fine, i can record every Panel encoder via midi or USB on Cubase but if i turn the Whells its chaos.

-- I use Firmware Version 1.0.3
-- I set everything to CC and 7-bit in the out filter configuration.
-- i check the local function in the Global Mode (Global Menu 1.5)
-- i also have a little phatty and no problems with wheels USB or MIDI everything worked perfekt.

sorry for my bad english and
Thanks for building the best Mono/Duo Synthesizer i ever played. :D :D

today i update the new firmware v 1.0.4.
midi via cubase is a better, but now the USB is freaking out. and sometimes crash my sequencer. so i better use midicabels till the next updates.

but if i filter the midi message to lower the traffic in my AMT8 Midi Interface. The MODWHEEL is furthermore switched OFF and can't be recorded or played with my cubase sequecer

best wishes form Germany

maybe the sub 37 is sending clock output? try Global menu 2.5 - Clock Options - make sure SEND CLOCK: OFF

With NRPN/CC = CC and 7bit output, the amount of MIDI traffic should be OK.
