I know most if us strive for a perfection that truly doesn't exist but these are hand made instruments that are bound to have variances and micro inconsistencies.
This seems super minor and an understandable growing pain seeing as the screen was designed so close to the edge it was just bound to happen.
I say if it really messes with ya, just pop it open. Put a little black rubber liner or weather seal to cover it up and call it a day?
