Slim Phatty setup (beginner)

just bought a slim phatty, as always nowadays the pdf manual was of no help to me. As you may guess im new to analog synthesisers and midi etc. So far I have the slim phatty connected to my pc via usb and the audio output to my interface. Im running cubase 6.5 . i create a midi track and select the input my midi controller keyboard and the output to the slim phatty and i Have no sound. I have a feeling Im completely going about this the wrong way. PLease help, thanks for your time

Make sure the SP is set to receive on the same MIDI channel that Cubase is sending.

Also check to make sure "echo MIDI" is engaged on your track in Cubase.

Not sure what kind of problem you are having with the manual. Most of the Moog manuals cover the material pretty well.

Make sure you are monitoring the audio channel that you have the slim phatty plugged into on your interface...
