LP Stage 2 USB issue

Well, I searched the forums and didn't find anything quite like the problem I'm having.

When rehearsing for a recent gig the USB connection started being sketchy It would connect, but Live wouldn't receive any MIDI from the LP. So I switched to DIN MIDI and it worked fine. Well now that I got my studio put back together it still has the same problem (with a different computer). The weird thing is that the LP recieves MIDI through USB fine, but doesn't send.
The version # on the screen when it boots says 3.1S 680
What's strange is that I don't see 3.1 on the Moog website???

Do you think updating the USB firmware is worth a shot? If so, where is that file? I didn't find it in the download section. Thanks for everyone's help!
