Finally got an SP! Few questions tho

Post by typhy » Wed Nov 16, 2011 10:05 pm

I want to hear the SP through my pair of KRK RP5 monitors. I do not have an audio interface, yet. How can I do this since there is only one audio output jack on the SP.

Can someone also explain to me how to edit the arpeggiator? Or is that non accessible? I only see how to change the tempo and note length. I don't see how to change it from up/down/trigger/etc.

Also, are there SP patches out there that ppl have made that I can download and try out?

Have you looked in the manual?
It usually is the easiest way to find out things ...

It is in the preset menu, not the global menu.

Yea, you want to hit the 'master' button to get into the global menu, then enter that and scroll through until you find the 'advanced preset' menu. Then enter that and scroll through until you find the 'arpeggiator' menu. Here you can change various parameters which apply only to the current preset, as it is under the advanced preset menu - the other arpeggiator settings in the global menu apply to all patches unless you override them in the advanced preset menu (there is often options in the advanced preset menu to set a parameter to the global setting).

Hope this helps

I was wondering if there are patches made by other people that I can download and try out. If so, where and how can I do this?

You just got the unit, already went thru all the factory presets?

Tweak them, study them...

If you buy the editor/librarian you get 2 banks: 1 from tribute and another one from stage II

And regarding your questions, it's all in the manual man. Print it and keep by your side while playing, it's better than reading the PDF.
