Little Phatty Factory Update to 3.1 (?!)

What hardaware is tuned-up / updated to the Little Phatty with the Factory Update to 3.1?
It is also available as a Factory Update from Moog. Should you choose the Factory Update, Moog will update the firmware for your Little Phatty (Stage 1, 2 and Tribute) as well as include a sonic tune-up to the latest hardware for $99.00.
Any information about it would be greatly appreciated

Alright, I got the answer from Moog (Amos) via email:
The hardware update replaces the capacitors in the DAC circuits (the place where digital settings become analog control voltages), to improve the signal/noise ratio of the Phatty's CV controls.
So I've decided to send my LP for the factory update...

I'm assuming the new black endpanel LPs come with these hardware changes as standard?

In my opinion is better to have a confirmation from Moog whether the new black-side-panels LPs will come with both hardware update and new firmware
