Maskin, very sorry for that!

I am putting together the final release files now, and I just got a PhattyLoader that is compatible with OSX 10.4.
This version should work on Intel and PowerPC machines, 10.4 or above.

PhattyLoader for Mac Intel/PPC OSX 10.4 +

Hope you're enjoying the new MacBook Pro anyway ;)

Wow, you're quick! Though I have to say it still doesn't work on 10.4.

The poly mode works solid now by the way. Only oscillator 2 of the Slim Phatty seems to fluctuate a bit when OSC2 FREQ is turned all the way up.

Maskin: new version doesn't work on 10.4? That's not good; Another tester said it did work.. I only have 10.6.7 here so I can't check it. Does the software not open, or does it open but not send data... what are the symptoms of trouble?
Thanx

It just doesn't open. I'm on 10.4.11 by the way.

Huh. Well I'll ask the PhattyLoader programmer to sort it out.

Meanwhile here are the final release files for Mac (10.5 and above) and Windows, including documentation
... all in one pack for now as I am in a hurry to go enjoy my weekend. :)

Individual links will be in all the appropriate website places on Monday.

Cheers, all!

Go to MASTER menu -> ADVANCED PRESET-> ARPEGGIATOR -> PATTERN
but there are only UP, DOWN and ORDER options, not random

Just uploaded the newest firmware to my Phatty Stage II and Slim Phatty combo. If I make an adjustment on the Slim that is poly-chained, (say to adjust the OSC 2 frequency to make the patch sound alike). I loose the poly function, and I have to reboot the Slim to make it recognize polyphony again. Anyone else having this problem?

you don't have to reboot, just do all notes off on the LP. still, that shouldn't be...

Not related to code but you should have your documentation guy edit the attached so that it calls out the fact that the Volume Velocity Sensitivity feature does is not supported on the Tribute platform. Will be installing today, very much looking fwd to this mega-release.

Will be in Asheville this coming Friday to drop off my VOS for upgrades on the way to Florida; hope to buy somebody a beer!

Thanks Amos,

This suggestion worked for me. I hate bringing all of these issues up at the "11th hour" like this but I have not had time to play with my Phattys much this week. I also noticed when I record an envelope change in Live, say like a filter envelope sweep. I am not getting a smooth curve, and there seems to be a "tick" at even increments throughout the filter sweep. This is the same for 14 bit on or off. And of course during playback these "ticks" are audible. Here is a picture of this. (I hope!)

Just a quick update - If I turn MIDI merge off these "ticks" are reduced but I am still hearing some artifacts.
