LP for Film Sound

Post by Xenollop » Tue Nov 09, 2010 3:43 pm

Hey Everyone,

If anyone's interested, I use a Little Phatty Tribute primarily for sound design for film...my personal work revolves around it, I'm waiting to get the opportunity to use it with a client, as most of the sound work I do is Production Sound...
I've had my TE for a couple of years now and it continues to prove itself as an incredibly rich artistic tool. There's something so satisfying about using a machine to create organic, practical sounds. For me, the LP transcends being just a synth keyboard. Thanks Moog.

Anyhoo, I recently overhauled the sound for what was my Thesis film from Spring 2009, adding the necessary touches to bring it up to my current personal quality standards. A lot of the sounds you'll hear are the little phatty tribute, with little processing other than reverb. It's a dense film around 16 minutes, so I applaud anyone who watches through it.

Also on my Vimeo there's a couple of films called Phorms I and II. They also use the LP for noise purposes.

cheers and keep Mooging!
