Whats next for the moog theremin?

Post by little doodler » Wed Oct 10, 2007 9:37 pm

So I am kinda sad that they discontinued the EW pro, was looking forward to getting one sometime. Will Moog be making a new model I wonder?

thanks,
Chris

When did this happen? According to the web site they are simply not selling direct any more and only going through distributors.

i checked also, none left. Maybe they are gonna introduce a new one, or maybe just stick with the etherwave for now?

Maybe the LP is taking up the part of the Shop the Pro's were made in. I can only speculate. I was thinking about getting one myself until i learned that they discontinued them. Im thinking about having my Standard theremin modded to send pitch/volume cv's and saving a thousand bucks to get other moog gear hehehe.

I think I hear the mothership coming.

There more differences between the EW and the ePro than simply getting CV for pitch/volume.

It would appear that Moog is making 80 more ePros. This limited edition includes a gig bag for $1579.00.

I think the 80 more announcement came a year ago and those are gone. I found this thread while hunting around to see if I could buy one now.
