Theremin is tuned backwards

Post by lizzard » Sun Mar 19, 2023 10:29 am

I've had a Moog Etherwave for years but have never been able to get it to work. The problem is that when I move my right arm towards the antenna, the pitch goes down instead of up. Is there a way to fix this?

For correct operation, it is necessary to correctly adjust the central circuit of the fixed generator with a red plastic screwdriver. Attention! Hearts are very fragile! Very carefully and only with a plastic screwdriver from the kit.
Good luck in everything! Valery.

Hey there. Think of the pitch field as a V. Moving out from the antenna, pitch will decrease to the “zero beat” and then pitch will rise beyond that. The adjustment of the pitch knob counterclockwise will bring the zero beat closer to you and, I believe, fix your issue.
