Claravox Centennial theremin

Post by DiggyDog » Sun Oct 25, 2020 7:24 pm

Has anyone else ordered one yet?

I put in my pre-order on Friday morning and I can't wait.

This may sound crazy but I pre-ordered a second one. I missed out on the Etherwave Pro and now they are priced out of my budget. If I'm lucky this one will increase in value as well. If not, I guess I'll have a spare.

I'm wondering when they'll come out with some kind of gig bag for it.

I took the plunge too. I’ve got both a Burns 3 and a Theremini. While the Theremini is fun, I actually prefer the Burns 3 as it seems much more responsive. However, I got a great deal on the Claravox and can’t wait for it to be shipped. (When Moog will do that, I don’t know but I was disappointed when I heard that the release date has been delayed.)

I missed the Etherwave Pro. I am not missing this one. I ordered mine.

I am wondering if someone from Moog could weigh in and tell us if there are plans for a Moog-branded case for Claravox or can recommend a third-party case if not.

Last thing I heard is that PRODUCTION should begin in the second quarter. However they did not say which year...
There is some more discussion over at Theremin World.
