Supply problems in Etherwave

I have 2 pin plug for the etherwave. I put that into the standard uk socket and its working fine. I was playing theremin and suddenly i was unable to get any sound for the unit, I tried to solve the problem by plugging it in different sockets but nothing worked. Please provide any valid solution, thanks!
