Hi guys!
This is my first post here, so hello hello!
So, I will be competing in a local beauty pageant in 1 month, and for the talent portion, I want to play a song on the theremin my wife bought me recently. Thing is, I'm not that good. She says I' be better off knitting, but, umm, no.
I need to learn a song that isn't too hard - Saint-Saens' The Swan is just too much - but it needs to be both recognizable and elegant. I was thinking of doing an aria, like Mio Babino Caro, but I don't know...
What do you guys think? Thanks!
Lilly

I'll let others suggest an aria for you. But I think that Somewhere Over the Rainbow would be recognizable, memorable, and it's a beautiful song.

Hi Kaiweb,
Thx for tour answer - i checked back a few times n saw that no one replied, so i hadn't checked back.
I ended up going with o mio babino caro, following the charlie brown version haha, and in the end i came in 4th in the pageant.
Oh well I'll keep practicing, and now to learn somewhere over the rainbow!
