Desktop speaker with Theremin, possible?

Post by miklodeon » Mon Mar 14, 2016 3:20 pm

I'm considering buying an Etherwawe Theremin. Is there a problem connecting it to my B&W MM-1 desktop active speakers (aux-input)?
At this time, I wouldn't yet like to purchase a separate amp for the theremin.
thanks.

Damn Crickets...
Not sure if your speakers are grounded or not. If not, then the theremin does not work properly. :( .
But sending the signal through a (grounded) mixer and then into amp/speaker works fine. Something like the Mackie 402 in the bag helps on any ungrounded situation.
