Problems with Moog Etherwave Theremin Plus Pitch Range

Hi my friends, how are you?
Hope someone can help me.
I recently bought a Moog Etherwave theremin plus and it was working right till last few days.
The problem is that the audio cable began to interfere in the pitch, the place when the cable is placed on the theremin is the lowest note I can play (if I get closer to the pitch antenna the pitch gets higher but if I put my hand far from the antenna, further from the audio cable I cannot go lower that that in pitch.
Please, could someone help me with this? I couldn't find any info or even any kind of post about this topic neither here nor on the other theremin forums.
