Didn't anyone else catch the Detroit Symphony Orchestra concert on Saturday - either in person or from their live video-cast online? They performed David del Tredici's "Final Alice", a wild and amazing piece based on "Alice in Wonderland" that features a full orchestra plus banjo, accordion, mandolin, amplified (sometimes with a bull horn!) soprano (the amazing Hila Plitmann), and Theramin!
The Treramin was mostly for effects, but still very cool.
