Now that CP-201 is capable of MIDI to CV conversion...

Post by r05c03 » Sun Oct 25, 2009 5:09 pm

I guess I need some help dialing in my 'Fooger rig to play nice with my Voyager / Little Phatty. I have never done anything with MIDI to CV conversion.

I would prefer to use one of my MF-102's to act as the VCO so that I can send it into the MF-107 and mix in some nice timbres, However I could just as easily use the MF-107 as the tone generator.

I have been doing a little experimentation. On the CP-201, I have the root note set to 24, and it is in Unipolar Mode. I can get the 102 tuned into to the same octave of "C" but I just cannot seem to get the 102 to track, even when I play "D" the D comes in flat. I have tried adjusting the CV Scale on the CP-201 and just cannot seem to get it to dialed in so that the playing notes two semi-tones part are really two semi-tone apart.

Any help is appreciated.
