cp-251

Post by analoogalamoog » Mon Mar 26, 2007 4:53 pm

this may seem silly, but how does the 4-way multiple work on the cp-251? is the red jack the input and the 3 black jacks are outputs? or do all 4 jacks work as both inputs and outputs? if so, how can it distinguish the difference? does it just know?
thanks bub,
dylan

you can plug an expression pedal into the red jack and the other three jacks will output the expression pedal voltage. the red jack is different because than the others because it will supply power to an expression pedal. otherwise, all jacks are the same and it doesn't matter which one you use as the input. also, the red jacks are no longer red on new cp251s :( but they still work the same.
