3 osc for my LP, as well as a chance to try out my fooger station (101/102/103/104/105/107/CP-251 x2) as a living, breathing modular. i'll still need to rely on the LP as the envelope generator, but it'll be really fun to see what can be squeezed out of it. i'll probably ditch one of the foogers i use least to get another 107 if it's versatile enough. :)

i'm not sure quite what all the poll options mean. i plan to use mine as modules with my other modular stuff, so i chose "synth". i'm running out of space on the floor for moogerfoogers. hard-syncing the vco to audio as well as having cv control over the wave shape is going to create some very interesting possibilities. the waiting is the hardest part.

i am hoping to use it with my guitar mostly. i do not have a modular synth yet! so with laptops and digital synths it seems sort of worthless. however, to be able to make my guitar sound like that.. it may clear half my pedal board!

I will use it as a standalone VCO to interfere with my modulars and other foogers. But... processing vocals and guitar will probably bring me the most joy.

Maybe they sold out their pre=orders and that's when they expect their second round.

Humbucker doesn't have anything about the 107 on their site yet. They are Moog dealer #1 in the US, so Jake gets first dibs AFAIK.

In fact, he has EB #7 NIB for $2600 right now.

Did you manage to get one for $279???

I wish I had preordered. The $339 prices I'm finding are a bit of sticker shock from the NAMM pricing.

Have you been to Nova Musik? (I see you live in Madison)

If you call and ask them, Tony should be able to tell you what number you are on the list and about how many is expected in the first batch.
Music can Name the Unnamable and Communicate the Unknowable.

'I am... everything is... changed... they're calling... your face... interwoven... who is...' Patient mumbles inaudibly to a tune (sounds like 'Thanks for the memory).

visiting NM is still on my to-do list, but thats a great idea! Lately I've been going to american musical supply and getting the run-around. I forgot the benefit of local business.. quick, informed interface. I suspect I might've pushed myself right out of the first batch though, by waiting so long to pre-order.

::edit:: apparently i'm the only person on their preorder list atm. 8)
