MF-101 Input Trimmer?

Post by c7sus » Sat Aug 13, 2016 4:26 pm

Any chance there is an input sensitivity trimmer? Seems like my 101 runs a little hotter than the other MoogerFoogers I have. I'd like to tone it down a bit so it doesn't drive as easily.

I don't believe there is - I assume you have turned the drive knob back? The bummer about the drive knob is that it affects output volume too.

Suggestions:
- put a booster after it with drive set low, booster to bring volume back to unity.
- try running it at 13V to gain a bit of headroom - VERY MAX OF 15 V constant, anything more and you risk magic smoke.
Vibration emanates from all things, even nothing. Using awareness to translate vibration into "music" is something that I am whole heartedly grateful for.
