extending MF-108M delay time mod

Post by horacio2222 » Tue Dec 23, 2014 2:55 am

Hello,
Can anyone tell me how to extend the delay time of the Cluster Flux. i,ve heard that it is possible via some kind of mod inside the unit.

Hi horacio,

Good news, you don't need to go digging inside your Cluster Flux to multiply the DELAY TIME by 2x, 4x, or 8x.

It's a simple MIDI command (CC#75).
Check out your owner's manual on page 15:

CC# 75: Delay Time Range Multiplier
0-31=Normal, 32-63= x2, 64-95=x4, 96-128=x8.

Watch my MF-108M video starting at 6:58 and especially 8:15:

On my MF-108, the delay time multiplier also multiplies the noise from the BBD chips. By the time it sounds like a delay, the BBDs are howling.
