I've been enjoying working with GForce's ARP Odyssey plugin, and was thinking about adding the Odyssey's additional features - S&H, FM, PWM, sync, and ring modulation - to my vintage Minimoog Model D with Moogerfoogers.
I've got an MP-201 Multi Pedal on the way, so that covers S&H and all the LFO modulation that comes with it.
I've just read the manuals for the Moogerfooger Ring Modualtor, FreqBox, and CP-251. These seem like the best way to achieve those Odyssey timbres, in addition to those Keith Emerson and Wendy Carlos modular sounds I grew up listening to. But with the limited CV of the model D, compared to the Voyager, and the output of the Mini going into the MFs like an effect pedal, will I pull this off? I'm sure they'll be really cool, but will the signal flow be markedly different than say the Odyssey?
I'm not trying to clone the ARP, just make my model D equal in features.
Adding Odyssey features to Minimoog D via Moogerfoogers?
