Stereo delays

Post by stuart_melvey » Mon Jun 23, 2014 9:58 am

Hey I was wondering if you plugged a jack from one TIME into another TIME, would they control each other? if you got them both in sync (put them both on 0 then turned one up) would they stay the same?
thanks!

Plugging and input into an input? That's against nature...

Actually, to do what you're asking sorta...

You can plug an expression pedal into the mult in the CP-251 (the input with the white circle around it), then run two patch cords into each TIME input, controlling both with one pedal.. Alternately just running the same CV into both via a mult works as well.

Or put a delay in the fx loop of the Cluster flux.
Vibration emanates from all things, even nothing. Using awareness to translate vibration into "music" is something that I am whole heartedly grateful for.

In the loop?... I have to try this out.
I currently have a 104 running through a ClusterFlux for stereo duties, but not in the fx loop. Thanks for sharing :)

Though the OP was asking about using two MF-104's which could only work if the ClusterFlux had two insert points...

If you do the expression pedal method (also a great way to do the "spacing" effect on the Voyage's dual filters if you have two 101's) be sure to put the pots in the 12:00 position so you get the widest range out of the pedal (if that's what you want).

I'm assuming that you mean the pedal will output a bipolar CV when run through a mult?

MIDI clock to both with a MIDI splitter ("thru").

(Assuming M version)
