Hello,
I know the CP251 is analog, and the lfo rate can't be synced, but could it be re triggered by an audio signal like a kickdrum.
Could it have the same effect as the lfo rate midi sync on the voyager (re start the lfo)?
I'm thinking (i'm not with the machine now) about putting a kickdrum in the pedal-in of the CP251, do you think it works?

Re: Cp 251 lfo rate re trig
There is no reset to the cp lfo. (I use a Megaohm LFO2 for that feature.) I really wish there was a reset input on he phasor to sync it to a beat.

Re: Cp 251 lfo rate re trig
OHHH it's so sad man! thanks for your answer!
Re: Cp 251 lfo rate re trig
I wonder if anyone has tried to modify the circuits to give that feature... I wonder if Moog could do it.
Re: Cp 251 lfo rate re trig
Maybe if they come out with a CP 251M?
Personally, I hope they don't...

Not quite the same, but you can use the square LFO on the CP to clock other gear such as sequencers or something like the new Koma RH-301 pedal. This will mean that the downbeat of the sequencer is in sync to the LFO of the CP-251...
I have this working OK with my Doepfer Darktime, for instance. When my Koma arrives (hopefully they ship this week as today is release day) I will post details. Anyone with a Fooger modular setup should check these things out if they haven't already!

Re: Cp 251 lfo rate re trig
OK - news is: The Koma will, unfortunately, not clock by the cp-251 square wave LFO. The Doepfer Dark Time seems to manage it, though... Maybe I will write to Koma and make further enquiries...
