Every time I've registered a Moog product, I've put 'Moogerfooger Vocoder' in the little box where it asks you 'What you would like to see from Moog'.

Good to see I'm not the only person who wants this!

in the meantime, if you search the forum, you'll find Amos posted a link to a robust looking iOS sequencer priced around $10. I think it does more channels simultaneously ~ I haven't tried it yet.
I have and do use this one -LITTLE MIDI MACHINE - it's totally free and works great internally with Animoog or externally to drive your analog midi gear

I've been using the EHX Iron Lung as a vocoder for a while. It's one of EHX's NANO sized boxes, so it proves that you can do a vocoder in a small box, but it is certainly DSP. It sounds ho hum, kinda shrieky when you get monitors or PA involved.
I would certainly pay money for a Moogerfooger moogercoder.
As far a sequencers go, if they make one it should have CV AND midi out, as well as MTC sync.
It seems like ever couple of years there is a resurgence of interest in CV/analog gear. and theb a fantastic new CV sequencer comes out. Then it turns out to have firmware bugs or reliability issues and the company goes out of business or kills the product.
Moog seems to be doing great and are building better made synths (and stuff) now then they did back in the day.
Yes I would prefer a Phatty or a Voyager to a Source or a Rogue!
Seeing how they continue to put out firmware updates for the MP201 and Taurus even after they have stopped making them implies that they would see a sequencer project through to a useable product. Perhaps even a stage worthy one?
Taurus III, Digitone, Dark Energy, OB6, MG1, Grandmother, Blofeld

Give me a sequencer if it has a lot of memory, a bar counter, swing, and the ability to be programmed to do tempo changes and preset changes and I think they would have a winner.

Check out L-1's Vocoder( 24 band) on his site: http://l-1.su/

Looks like a nice build and uses common op-amps and parts in addition to some high quality THAT ICs.

... or just buy a Korg Radias o Mocrokorg for a decent digital 'coder. I had a Radias-R a few years back; as a synth, it couldn't touch an analog synth but the Vocodor was good and tons of other goodies.
'76 Minimoog, Taurus 3, Oberheim FVS + Son of 2-voice; Sequential ProOne; Juno 106; Moog Model 15; Kurzweil 250; Hammond M3; and a handful of Fender Basses Flickr!
