Anoying level issue with the 12 step phaser

Post by n2design » Thu Jun 28, 2012 7:34 pm

Im not sure if something has went awry internally but I am having considerable level issues with the 12 step phaser.

On bypass i have a nice desirable level, but when I activate the phaser I lose considerable db. The only way to bring the level back up is to bump up the drive which causes clipping.

Also, What volume setting do you guys usually have going out the voyager into the foogers?

Are you able to try sending less signal from the source, and then turning up the phaser's drive control to compensate for the quieter source. This will increase the level of the phaser sound with respect to the bypassed signal. You've probably figured this out by now :)
