So how long until we see the MF-107M?
With all the new midi moogers I think this would be the next logical step.
My modular so far: Q104, Q106 x2, Q107, Q108, Q109 x2 , Q116, Q118, Q127 w/Q140, Q130, STG Wave Folder, Mixer and Mankato playing with Moog Voyager, VX-351, CP-251, MF-104M x2 ( STEREO!) Volca Beats and Bass, Arturia Beat step

Re: So how long until we see the MF-107M?
An MF-107M would add so many new possibilities.
Aside from the obvious benefits of having a free-standing
MIDI controlled variable-wave Moog oscillator, the OscSync
possibilities would explode.
Two people could jam into the MF-107M at the same time.
Imagine a combined guitar and keyboard solo, both playing
the same FreqBox. The guitar plugs into the Audio In and
the keyboardist would feed the MIDI IN to control the Freq
of the OSC. Turn on OSC Sync. The audible result would be
a solo with harmonic and pitch aspects of both players.
Obviously this can be done with a current MF-107 and a
MIDI->CV converter, but the additional MIDI control
over ALL of the FreqBox's parameters would be insane.
I know I've posted this link before, but this guy's video is
what tuned me around from, "Do I really need this MF?" to
"What am I gonna' sell to get one?"

Hmm I haven't tried the Freq box the videos make it looks like it tracks single note lines well and chords not so well. I looks and sounds pretty killer. I'm just afraid that the tracking would rub me the wrong way (guitar player)

Re: So how long until we see the MF-107M?
I would like to see midi in and thru on them if possible (for this imaginary product) so they could be chained together easily for polyphony or stacked monophonically

Re: So how long until we see the MF-107M?
I just have to comment on the existence of my own topic. Every time moog releases an amazing new product, before it even gets released we have to start speculating on what will come next. It happens with pretty much every product (especially foogers). I in no way meant to take away from the absolute awesome-ness of the MF-104m and all the attention it deserves, just want to create discussion around the new midi trend in the moogerfoogers

Re: So how long until we see the MF-107M?
I know that it seems like the answer to everything is, "Buy moreColorForm2113 wrote:I would like to see MIDI In and Thru on them if possible (for this
imaginary product) so they could be chained together easily for
polyphony or stacked monophonically
stuff," but in this case, I'd far rather pop for a QuadraThru than
lose one jack from every MF-xxxM pedal to add a MIDI Thru jack:
http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/MIDIthru4/
The MIDI timing between pedals will also be a bit tighter, because
each pedal is getting a split of the original MIDI source as opposed
to a daisy chain (Thru to In to Thru to In toThru to In, etc.)
The last pedal in a MIDI daisy chain has the combined latency of all
the preceding MIDI modules.
If you also have other MIDI gear, like drum machines and stand-alone
sequencers, you can have 8 Thru with something like this:

Or one of these:
http://www.innerclocksystems.com/New%20 ... 20Pro.html
Then it will be sample accurate with all of your midi and din sync gear.
Midi solutions gear is awesome, I use their mergers with my Sync Gen

Oh yeah, I wasn't thinking. I actually just ordered a kawai mav-8 , 4 midi in 8 midi out w/ graphic sliders on the front to route the midi ins to the midi outs

Re: So how long until we see the MF-107M?
So theoretically speaking if moog did release a MF-107m, is it possible to for them to make it in a way so we could daisy chain these up to the voyager to create extra polyphony?
how fun would that be!

thats IF they designed the software (midi code?) to allow that. it may not be possibleBHC303 wrote:So theoretically speaking if moog did release a MF-107m, is it possible to for them to make it in a way so we could daisy chain these up to the voyager to create extra polyphony?
