Sticky notes when using midi keyboard with modulation wheel.

Post by yvawoo » Fri Sep 09, 2022 12:27 pm

I am using moog one 16 voice Firmware 1.5. With two separate 88 key keyboards, Kawai MP 11 se and Kurzweil K2700, midi signal goes in without problem until I move modulation wheels on the midi keyboards. The notes hang and play endlessly until I change the program. I don't know where is the panic button. I think for some reason note off signal is not transferred or lost while modulation wheel signal comes in the same time.

Anyone knows how to fix this issue?

Moog and other instruments are all set up to send and receive midi CC instead of NPRN.

Thank you.

Solved

I found that the sticky keys only happen when I use midi via USB cables from external keyboards connected to computer, then computer to Moog one. I directly connected a din cable from Kurzweil to Moog one, then the sticky notes issue disappeared.

With K2700, program change signal works with Moog one. Whenever I change program from k2700, Moog one program also changes in order of performance set list. This opens a new possibilities of using 88 keys with Moog one.
