How does the Moog One, or the end user, allocate the voices used per synth?
Are all 8 voices available to all 3 synth parts, and then the voices used as the keys/sequencer triggers them?
Are they predetermined by the operating system?
Or does the end-user configure and allocate the number of voices per synth?
How does Moog One allocate voices per synth?
Re: How does Moog One allocate voices per synth?
In normal mode you got the three synths stacked. But most of the times you might like to use just one in order to play 8 voice polyphonic. You can set a keyboard range for the up to three synths used to get layers and splits.
If you do nothing about assigning a number of voices for a synth, the 8 voices are allocated by the Moog One dynamically.
And then there is a parameter to assign a certain number of the available voices to the up to three synths.
It is all explained on page #63 of the manual PDF.
