Transpose not independant for parts

Post by paddy ryan » Fri May 15, 2020 10:58 am

When working with split or layered parts, it would be VERY helpful if the keyboard transpose could be independent for each part.

This way the left side of the keyboard can be used for other than low notes (or the right other than high notes...).
With independant Transpose settings, each region could be set to whatever pitch range you want (up to two octaves above or below the key pitch).

I wonder if this is possible....

Yes agree, that would be a cool feature, I use it all the time on the Kronos.

You can use either of the expression pedals or the CV inputs to perform real-time transpose on any or all layers of a sound. A single pedal or CV input can also create different amounts and directions of a transpose simultaneously, i.e. one layer is trasposed up by some amount while another is transposed down by the same or a different amount.
This can create some great effects as you swoop from one extreme of the pedal to the other!

If you don't have any pedals, the Mod wheel can be programmed to perform the same function.
