Moog One Crash/Reboot issue (1.2.0)

Post by jambbb » Sun Jan 26, 2020 9:09 pm

Hello, I have recently been dealing with a recurring issue with my Moog One 16 voice on firmware 1.2.0. I got it in December brand new.

Basically whenever I try to recall a snapshop or another preset, the One freezes up and then reboots. Oddly sometimes the synth engine still makes noise until halfway through the reboot. It's basically happening all the time now making the One unusable. Contacted Moog a couple weeks ago, the issue has gotten worse. No replies yet. Anyone else suffering from this issue?

Hey jambbb,
I have also a topic about rebooting but no one has replied on it.
(Save button and time/date set in system settings reboots Moog ONE 16 running on firmware 1.1.0)

Downgraded to 1.06 and this problem was gone, but in 1.2.0 it is still present.
The new 1.2.1 I will test later this week, they speak about Fixes bug that caused MIDI Input Channel 16 to introduce overall instabilities.
The service department know about my problem, they are very helpful.
Let's hope..

Hello jambbb,

did the update to 1.2.1 yesterday and the reboot problem is solved.
It is worth a try, maybe it resolves other issues to!
Let me know how it went?
Good luck!
