Can a Moog One replace a Sub 37?

Post by actualsizeaudio » Wed Aug 07, 2019 12:15 am

Hey everyone,

Just got my 8 voice one and I am starting to dive into programming it. A quick question for those of you like me who have a Sub 37 and a One: have you reproduced your Sub37 sounds on the one? Obviously, there is no multi drive on the one.

Anyone have any tips for the most efficient way to do this? Has anyone done it with success?

Just curious.

...a bit like asking if a car can replace a bicycle. "Yes, kinda."

Overdriving a signal is pretty easy. Countless ways to do it at the mains (which are hot in my experience),

...but to be more direct, I would overdrive at the VCA's. Doable!

But if you gig, dragging the Sub37 around is easier on the soul.
