Sequencing Sub Phatty From Digitakt
Hey Gang, I've been wanting to get my Digitakt and Sub Phatty together for some jams but I've been running into an issue. When I send notes from the Digitakt to the Sub Phatty the ADSR for the VCA on the Sub Phatty seem to have little effect. It's as if the VCA is triggered as a hard on and off from the Digitakt, which is not what I'd prefer. Is there a way to configure the Sub Phatty so the midi on acts like a trigger and allows for full use of the ADSR?

Hi, welcome to the forum!
If the Digitakt sends classic NOTE ON/OFF MIDI messages, I cannot see why the Sub would bypass the envelope...
Are you sending classic MIDI messages?

I went back and tried some other patches and the ADSR behaves as expected. It seems that some patches, even when using the keyboard. doesn't allow the ADSR to close the volume all of the way. So the issue is a setting on the patch. I have no idea what would cause that.

Well... I'm not sure to understand what the behaviour is
You first said it was as if the envelope was a gate, did you?
And then that it was as if some patches did not allow to "close the volume completely".
Trying to figure out what happens...
