Sub 37 Filter Knob Gone Wobbly

Hi All,
The filter knob on my Sub 37 has become crazy wobbly. It feels all right physically, but as I turn the dial the filter goes bananas before settling down after a couple of seconds. Especially fun when self oscillating. Adjusting the filter using the Sub 37 Editor works just fine. Anyone had this problem? Fixable? My Sub 37 is well out of warranty.
