Hey,
i've got a strange problem. When i turn the LFO Rate knob, the Pitch Amount is turning (internally) too. I couldn't figure out what the problem was until i connected the synth to the editor and saw the problem.
It happened from one minute to another. The Sub Phatty worked perfectly fine before. It didn't fell, wasn't updated, nothing.
I'm sorry if this problem was already solved in another topic but i couldn't find anything.
Hope you can help me.
Sub Phatty internal malfunction
Re: Sub Phatty internal malfunction
Is it still happening, when no MIDI or USB is connected? You should hear the change of the two parameters without using an editor. If it does not happen without MIDI and USB connected, it might be some MIDI controller mapping in your DAW or what ever you use in your setup.
keep on turning these Moog knobs

Yes, still happening. I don‘t use any DAW or MIDI mapping. Just the Sub Phatty

Re: Sub Phatty internal malfunction
You probably have checked this, but there is no modulation going on that you forgot about (slow rate)?
I had something similar recently with my subsequent 37, only to find out I had a very slow LFO saw that kicked in unexpectedly.
Some more (obvious) questions:
Does it also happen without any connections?
(no midi cable, no USB cable, no pedals etc.)?
Does it happen with every patch?
Are you on the latest firmware?

Happens without any connections. I have not checked every preset, but it happenes in the ones i‘ve checked. As the problem occured i did an update of the firmware. But the problem is still there.
I have to check about the modulation, but as i said, it happened from one minute to another. We were recording a song. Have played it 3-4 times with the same preset. The fifth time the problem occured and never stopped :/

I'm out of the obvious options.
