Subsequent 37: Assign Aftertouch to Filter

Hi guys --
I seem to be getting very very old. For the life of me I cannot recall how to simply
assign aftertouch to affect the FILTER. Not one of the LFOs, just the filter. Could someone please remind me? And could you hurry? I seem to be aging extremely rapidly, and I don't know much time I have left.

Hi mpaulcurreri,
In the SUB37, SSQ37, SSQ37CV world, Aftertouch only modifies the
depth of another Source.
It can not be directly assigned to a parameter knob.
So... what you do is make the MOD Source CONSTANT (always on), make the Destination FILTER, and then use the MOD CONTROL page to set AFTERTOUCH: +100%.
Then, while fully pressing a key's Aftertouch, set the
FILTER AMT knob to the maximum desired amount.

Hi Demon Dan.
You are a very friendly Demon, Dan.
I really appreciate your comments. I hate to tumble backwards back into the noob womb, but could you be more specific about how to do these first two steps?
1. Make the MOD Source CONSTANT (always on)
2. Make the Destination FILTER
Where are these parameters located?
Thanks man,
Paul

SSQ37 Manual - Bottom of page 50 PGM SRC:
CONST ON
mpaulcurreri wrote:2. Make the Destination FILTER
SSQ37 Manual - Pages 22-23
FILTER AMT
And, to apply Aftertouch
SSQ37 Manual - Middle of page 50
AFTERTOUCH

Couldn’t you also use source “pressure” and destination “filter”?

Hi Quatschmacher,
You're completely correct. It's been a while since I've scrolled through that Source list and I completely forgot that Pressure was a Modulation Source as well as a multiplier.
