Subsequent 37 with Akai MPC live midi problem

Hey, folks,
I got an MPC Live to use as a sequencer with my hardware synths, and I've run into an interesting problem that I can't figure out if it's on the Moog end or the Akai end... when I send anything to the Moog, the note won’t stop sustaining. Even after I unplug the Midi cable, it keeps going. If, on the MPc, I change the channel and then come back to the original channel, it then shuts the note off. I’m not having that problem with my other synths. Is this an Akai problem or a Moog problem? If it's Moog, what do I need to do? Thanks, in advance.
