Hey guys, so the rubber coating on the pitch and mod wheels of my Sub37 has become quite sticky and tacky, as if it's slowly disintegrating.
The instrument has always been kept in a cool, smoke/dust/direct sun/pet free studio environment and I always make sure my hands are clean before playing.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any fixes?
Cheers

Re: Sub37 Pitch & Mod Wheel Rubber Coating Becoming Sticky
Hello
I had the same issue with my little phatty. I have just successfully cleaned them using Goo Gone. Use a cotton-swab and soak it in Goo Gone, gently rub the Wheel a few time, do one side at a time (above and below central notch and the notch itself). Use a wet cloth and rubb it a few time then use the dry end and rub it again, repeat until the Wheel is not sticky anymore.
hope this help.
