Hey, folks,
I have my Subsequent set up as a slave to my Virus TI for the arpeggiator tempos, but I'm a bit confused about something. It says in the manual to press it once, to sync it to the external synth, but the synth doesn't make a sound until I hit the sync button again. I saw in the manual how it won't make a sound unless it's recieving midi clock... isn't the fact that it's slaved mean it's always recieving midi clock?
Maybe I'm misunderstanding this, but is it really set up so I have to hit the sync button twice? Once to recieve the temp from the other synth, and then, again, to play sounds? I'm fine with that, but I just want to make sure I'm not doing something wrong.
Thanks.

Re: Question about Subsequent 37 sync to external
You just need to enable sync on the 37 and then as soon as MIDI clock comes in it will sync to it - I use my 37 with Logic all the time and it syncs great. If you have sync enabled and there is no MIDI clock incoming then things like the sequencer / arpeggiator won't work (it won't advance) until the 37 receives clock
