Not able to capture Pitch Wheel MIDI CC info

Post by dmsaunders » Thu Mar 09, 2017 11:08 am

Not entirely sure what's happening here, but when capturing MIDI CC's within Cubase, I'm not able to capture Pitch Bend info.

Every other controller works (Mod, Cutoff, etc.) and I'm able to capture the MIDI info sent to the DAW. What's strange is that the pitch wheel is working fine, and I can even see within Cubase that the MIDI data is registering from the pitch wheel (the MIDI meter will move up and down).....but when I go to capture the data, it claims there are no events in the buffer.

Can't tell whether this is an issue with the Moog, within Cubase, or somewhere in between.

Anyone else experienced this?

Many thanks in advance,

David.

Maybe Cubase is filtering the pitch bend data? In Nuendo, under preferences (midi) there are a bunch of check boxes to filter out certain kinds of data. Just a guess.
HW: Sub 37 <> Model D (original) <> Minitaur <> Slim Phatty <> OB-6 Module
<> Prophet Rev2 8V <> Prologue 16 <> Integra 7 <> SE-02 <> Triton Le <> Audient ASP-880
<> RME Raydat

SW: Nuendo

Brilliant sir, thank you - have no recollection of ticking that preference but there you have it.

Many thanks!
